I was a little wary of the Boks this week as they've been going fairly well this year so far, but that was an outrageous display from the ABs.

They didn't just blow them away in attack, but to keep them to zero is arguably just as impressive.

At the obvious risk of conjuring up EAH (not that I could blame him) the All Blacks just annihilated South Africa 57-0. It's worth watching the highlights, they were unbelievably good in every conceivable way.

And AFL is what?

Muscly bogans wearing bike pants trying to kick a ball between 4 posts and often missing?

Perfect sport for a limp-wristed ex-Aussie accountant.

The intellectual challenge of rugby !
I like it
Its fat blokes running a ball over a line while other fat blokes try and stop them.

That said its the perfect audience for some pyramid seller of FAT PILLS.

Oh, and I see that in November 2018, we've decided to let England play us.

Good to involve the lower-ranked nations from time to time.

We've been through this. That's because rugby requires a little too much intellect for your average Australian, who, let's be honest are a ll a little retarded.

Present company included.

11 years old I was so 1978... our school was a Rugby school first and football 2nd... 1st real rugby I remember was England winning the Championship... Beaumont, carlton, Slemen, Woodward and Dusty Hare... 1st Lions tour ever took notice was 1989 when we came down and split Nick farr Jone's lip from Sydney to Canberra .... boy that was fun watching that... absolute hiding off and on the pitch you canary yellows took ...

Yes, it's almost 15 years since he first fell in love with Jonny Wilkinson.
He didn't even know what sport he played for the first 5 years.

I can remember being at Highbury (1-0 Mike Small) in November 1991 when the ground announced read out the score from Twickers.
Not a flicker of reaction

If you don't remember that was the World Cup final where Australia fooled England in to trying to play rather than stick to their usual DOUR WINNING SHIT.
And their egos took over

As a sports fan it seems a very short sighted decision to kill their team in Perth though. Have just given up basically.
I am sure a few expat Kiwis and Saffas will be a bit upset but 95% of sports fans there will be more interested in the Perth AFL teams finals match in Sydney on Saturday.

That said I can remember when West Ham fans weren't interested in rugby too.

Jonah
You seem to be under the misapprehension that anyone in Australia gives a shit about rugby.
The ARU have now given up on a national competition scrapping the Western Force and retreating to their eastern states bunker.
17,500 to watch Australia play S Africa last Saturday while the night before the AFL final at the MCG between Geelong & Richmond drew 95,000.
For a qualifying final between two Melbourne suburbs.
